2012 Nursing Distinction Awards

The Nursing Distinction Awards honor eight outstanding nurses in Palm Beach County. Award winners are chosen on the basis of dedication to excellence in an area of expertise beyond the scope of their jobs, commitment to the profession of nursing, and a sense of community. One registered nurse is selected from the eight category winners for the Palm Healthcare Foundation and Palm Beach Post’s Nurse of the Year Award. The Nurse of the Year receives a grand prize of $1000 and a two-night stay at The Breakers Palm Beach.

The Nursing Distinction Awards is Palm Beach County’s signature event to recognize nurses and their compassionate and courageous work. Join us in honoring these healthcare heroes by nominating an outstanding nurse (deadline January 30, 2012), sponsoring the event, attending the Pre-Event, or attending the Nursing Distinction Awards (registration for the awards dinner coming in March).
