Diabetes is a national health crisis. According to the Centers for Disease Control, every 21 seconds someone in the United States is diagnosed with diabetes. The serious epidemic of Type II Diabetes caused by obesity is more prevalent across all age groups every single day. What is most distressing is that it is affecting the lives of our youngest members of society; even our elementary school aged children. We are committed to funding innovative programs that will provide solutions to slow down and prevent the fastest growing disease in the United States today.
