Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc., Palm Beach County’s community foundation for health, honors Mrs. Paula Harris of Palm Beach for her continued commitment to improving the health of all Palm Beach County residents through her donor-advised fund at Palm Healthcare Foundation.
Mrs. Harris has made 57 grants totaling $1 million dollars since 2004. These grants have supported various healthcare organizations such as Caridad Center, MyClinic and Kramer Senior Services, as well as provided nursing scholarships to students at Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University, and others. Mrs. Harris recently made the lead gift of the foundation’s new Brain Health campaign, Train the Brain, set to launch in January 2018.
“We are so grateful for the generous support of Mrs. Harris, and honored that she has chosen Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc. to help manage her contributions for the betterment of Palm Beach County residents,” said Pat McNamara, CEO of Palm Healthcare Foundation. “This new gift will be a major catalyst in launching Train the Brain next year.”
Mrs. Paula Harris was celebrated by the foundation with a luncheon on July 18 at BrickTop’s, Palm Beach.
