DeAnna Pledger recently joined the Philanthropy Committee of Palm Healthcare Foundation. Currently, DeAnna is Assistant Vice President of NFP P&C Private Client Group, but she began her insurance career as a customer service representative with Marsh & McLennan’s Personal Client Services division. Within a few years, she was tasked with launching the Fort Lauderdale Mega Yacht office where one of her tasks was to manage their Fortune 500 clients. DeAnna transferred to Palm Beach where she managed high net worth clients for Marsh’s Private Client Group.
After 8 years at Marsh, DeAnna had an opportunity to transition into a sales role with Summit Global Partners, where she continued to work with high net worth clients.
Successful with her sales, PLI Brokerage, then a subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation, recruited DeAnna as a personal lines sales specialist concentrating on the development of business through Financial Advisors, Tax specialists and Attorneys. In 2006, DeAnna opened the Florida office of Lane McVicker, LLC., a national property & casualty personal lines organization specializing in coverage for high net worth individuals and families. DeAnna successfully ran the Palm Beach Gardens office of Lane McVicker until October of 2012, when National Financial Partners, acquired Lane McVicker, as a wholly owned subsidiary of NFP Property & Casualty Services, Inc.
Today, NFP P&C Private Client Group has 13 offices across the country and is the leading provider of personal lines property & casualty services for the affluent and wealthy. DeAnna is a former Trustee member of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, a current member of the Palm Beach Estate Planning Council, as well as other nonprofit committees. DeAnna received her BA degree in communications from The American University in Washington D.C. and has recently received the designation of Certified Professional Insurance Agent, CPIA.
