West Palm Beach, FL - Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc. (PHF) recently announced that John Spencer Lacy, Vice President, Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group, has been named to the PHF Board of Trustees.

John shares the foundation's deep commitment to advancing healthcare access and delivery in Palm Beach County," said David Robb, Chairman of the Board, PHF. "As an acknowledged leader in the business arena, John brings a wealth of experience, insight and business acumen to the foundation. "
Lacy has been recognized year after year for his involvement in the community. He received the Valor Award from the American Diabetes Association in 2003, was awarded the Bronze Fundraising Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County in 2002 and received the Service to Youth Award in 2001. An active member of the community, Lacy's current involvement includes serving on the Board of Trustees for Glades General Hospital, serving as Vice Chairman of the Boys & Girls Club Foundation Board and on the Board of Trustees for the Boys & Girls Club Corporate Board. Lacy's other affiliations include: The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Broward Community Foundation, Palm Beach Community Foundation and Mayor's Economic Council.
Lacy is a partner in the Lansing, Lacy, Hutcheon and Regan Group, Merrill Lynch and vice president, senior financial advisor, Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group. Lacy received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He now resides in Wellington with his wife Angela and two children.
