"Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc. has come together with other funders to provide a coordinated response to the needs of the not-for-profit community and the clients it serves," said Suzette Wexner, President of Palm Healthcare Foundation. "I am happy that our efforts will assist in the immediate and long term recovery of this community."

PHF has granted $15,000 to Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc., $10,000 to American Lung Association of Southeast Florida, $3,000 to Building Blocks/NOAH, Inc., $1,600 to Glades Initiative, $5,000 to New Hope Charities, Inc., $2,500 to Wee Care, Inc., $3,500 to YWCA of Palm Beach County, Inc. and $9,400 to Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc. to repair and replace facility damages that were not covered by insurance, FEMA or any other funding source.

Collaborating funders include the United Way of Palm Beach County, Children's Services Council, James L. Knight Foundation, Robert McCormick Tribune Fund, Palm Beach Post "United We Care," Quantum Foundation, Allegany Franciscan Foundation and Lost Tree Charitable Foundation. Funding requests are being accepted through the Palm Beach County Hurricane Relief and Recovery Fund, coordinated by the United Way.
