What: 5th Anniversary “Together We Can Do More” Celebration with Keynote Speaker Lieutenant Colonel Consuelo Castillo-Kickbusch, who overcame the fierce challenges of poverty, discrimination and illiteracy in childhood to become the highest ranking Hispanic woman in the Combat Support Field in the U.S. Army. Celebration of Palm Healthcare Foundation’s significant milestones during its first five years, and recognition of its community partners who have collaborated with the Foundation to achieve success across a broad range of healthcare initiatives. 2. Presentation of Palm Healthcare Foundation’s 2006 Commitment to Community Honorees who have made significant contributions to strengthen healthcare in Palm Beach County. 3. Unveiling of Palm Healthcare Pavilion plans, a state-of-the-art $12 million project that will transform care for local children with special healthcare needs. 4. Attendance of 300 Foundation Trustees, community leaders, Palm Healthcare Distinction Winners, grantees, volunteers, donors– all of whom have worked with and supported the Foundation to help provide solutions to unmet healthcare needs for the community, especially for the underserved. In the past five years Palm Healthcare Foundation has distributed more than $14 million to over 70 non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County operating over 130 programs that met its funding goals.
