For More Information Please Call: WHO: Palm Healthcare Foundation, Hospice by the Sea, Florida Atlantic University Wellness Center, Palm Beach Habilitation Center, Habitat for Humanity WHAT: Palm Healthcare Foundation is turning what will become the Palm Healthcare Pavilion into a “green” building and will be donating everything recyclable from the building to Hospice by the Sea, WHERE: The future Palm Healthcare Pavilion 5205 WHEN: WHY: The Palm Healthcare Pavilion building project will be a local leader in green building design. The project will adhere to the LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System, the nationally accepted standard for green buildings developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. From purchasing products close to the site to reduce transportation effects on the environment, to recycling the building’s contents by donating surplus cabinetry and fixtures to local charities, Palm Healthcare Foundation is demonstrating that you can reconstruct a standard office building in an environmentally responsible way. Working toward LEED® certification, Palm Healthcare Foundation will maximize water and energy efficiencies, conserve materials and resources, reduce landfill space and protect indoor environmental quality.
