WEST PALM BEACH, FL. – Palm Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the promotions of Jan L. Rodusky and Amy Dean to the vice president level. Moving from director positions, Ms. Rodusky was named vice president of grant programs, and Ms. Dean is now the vice president of policy and workforce programs.
These promotions strengthen the leadership team at the leading public healthcare foundation in Palm Beach County. "Amy and Jan have demonstrated an incredible level of commitment, creativity and passion for advancing healthcare," said Suzette W. Wexner, president of Palm Healthcare Foundation. "They have worked tirelessly to develop a deep understanding of the greatest challenges we face in our community today, and to bring together people, organizations, and resources in a collaborative effort to create real change in the lives of the underserved."
Ms. Rodusky spent ten years securing grants and gifts for health-focused organizations as a professional fundraiser in northeast Ohio and West Palm Beach, Florida. Building upon the unique experience of being both the grantee and the grantor, she is committed to improving the health of the community through strategic grant making and working to improve the effectiveness of the nonprofits delivering the services. She is extremely active in her community as a representative of the foundation as well as a leader through her personal involvement and volunteerism. Ms. Rodusky serves on several boards and committees, including the Healthcare Emergency Response Coalition, the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Leadership of Palm Beach County, Donor’s Forum of South Florida and St. Ann Catholic School. Jan holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in public administration, both from Kent State University.
Ms. Dean is responsible for oversight and facilitation of the foundation’s nursing workforce initiatives, including the programs of the Healthcare Workforce Partnership community collaboration, as well as health policy and advocacy efforts. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector in 2001, Ms. Dean worked in real estate finance and investment banking in Chicago; Sydney, Australia; New York City; and Miami. Ms. Dean is a member of the National Nurse Funders Collaborative, the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County. She also serves on the board of Florida Health News, an online news service, and on the Audit Committee of the Village of North Palm Beach, where she is a resident. Ms. Dean holds a master of business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, a bachelor of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a bachelor of health services from Florida Atlantic University.
